2005 A4 2.0T owner complains the gas tank will not fill normally, ie... Seems to gag on the fuel... No matter which station...
Car was purchased used, clean carfax, always had the problem since purchased

Has anyone else seen this problem?

I have had that problem a few times, Never could figure out. When I go to put gas in it, it will overflow and spit out in a few seconds, will not accept gas. I usually end up using the gas nozzle partially inserted to hold the filler flap open, I am thinking it needs to equalize airflow, but I really have no idea
