So I have this 2005 Audi A4 and its all good and clean just one problem not sure if it's a big or s small problem ima go with big since parts are outrageous anyways the problem it when I open the back two doors or the front right door the hazards start flashing but it's only for about 2 minutes or if I start the ignition the latest gets flash as well for the same amount of time the driver door doesn't make these lights flash I'm just trying to figure out how I can solve this problem it's at 200,000 miles but just put in a new timing belt and put several new parts in drives great just these lights

There's a couple of things that happen when you open the doors. One is that the interior lights turn on and the driver information screen displays which door is open. The only thing I can think of that involves both the door and the Hazard warning system is the turn signal indicators in the mirrors. Add the the mix 200,000 miles and plenty of door openings and closings.

Since the drivers side door is opened and closed every time the car is moved, check for broken/cross connected wires in the rubber conduit from the body to the door.

If you find any broken wires, replace them by adding a new wire that's terminated behind the kick panel and in the door.

PS - next time, ask your question in the A4 section
