pdc problem
Hello everyone
New to this game (this forum that is).
Would like to use your brains to help me resolve weird problem.
OK
Info -> AUDI A4 B7 AVANT 2005
Problem was with Parking Distance Control. One day it stopped working.After googling the problem I found that there could be an issue with the sensors. Listened, touched and found the offending one. Did not do a thing for about a month (no time) and then decided to do it. Removed the bumper , but now 2 sensors are down. Unplug them all, replug -> and then there were 3.
Bonjour Mr. EBAY and I get 4 new sensors, fit them and yes, nothing works: in fact all front and back sensors clicking OK (therefore working) but still warning sound from the car and no detection. Plug VAG-COM, can talk to nearly every module (I thing) but cannot talk to PDC "No response from Controller".
Cable status K1:OK K2:OK CAN:OK
HEEEEEEEEELP please
Regards

Sorry for a late reply, just noticed this message.
I am sure you found the problem, but for the benefit of all others:
1: VAG-COM issue -> some cables (mostly ebay) have to be crossed in order to talk to all the modules: ie. straight will talk to certain modules, and crossed will see the others - I made a switch, and all is OK.
2: problem with PDC, wrong or faulty resistance in the speaker (rear or front) will disable it. In my case it was the rear speaker.
Hope it helps
