Hope this is the right section for this kind of thing. The car is a 2006 Audi A4 Sedan 2.0T 6-Speed Manual. I was hoping someone could identify the source of the noise, here's a video and a copy of the YouTube description:


"There is a chirp/squeak when driving, seems to be most prominent when going over terrain with lots of dips. It seems to be coming from the front passenger side but I couldn't be sure. Lastly the car has been lowered 2" from stock on coil-overs. Anyone know what is causing this?"

I'd take a second look at your quality coil overs.

I have a similar sounding squeak, and I suspect that it has something to do with the rear seats. It seemed to start after the fuel pump was replaced, which involved removing the bottom of the seat. It's been getting worse over the past year, and it sounds more and more like a squeaky spring.
