Hi there, currently I don't own a Audi A4 but I am currently looking at one to buy. There's one locally to me that is for sale 2010 A4 Quattro (auto) for $8,000 with 75,013miles. I took it for a test drive and when I slowed down and came to a stop there was heavy loud vibrations. The same vibrations were there when the car was in park you could even see the hood shake a little bit. He said that it was most likely the motor mounts. The car was recently in an accident but has been fixed. It's even state inspected as well like that matters. The mechanic who worked on the car said that it's a possibility that the mount could've torn on the collision and could be leaking. Before we get any further I was curious as to if anyone else has had any vibration issues like this as well?? I don't want to jump into a used vehicle without a warranty and spend a lot of money repairing stuff..

Tell the owner to replace them if that is all it is.

Personally I avoid any car that has been in a collision.

I usually do to but I wanted to check the vehicle out considering the deal and being 3,000 below kbb.. I'm guessing if he has not got the issue fixed then it must be more than what he's telling me
