Upper oil pan replacement? bolt on bolt off???

Upper oil pan replacement? bolt on bolt off???
Hi guys, Just got a used motor for my 2009 A4. The motor that was ordered was off of a 2010 and the upper oil pan is cracked, at lease thats what they said was wrong with it before i ordered it. From what it looks like to me the block is cracked. Can some tell me if the piece that the oil pan bolts onto is considered the upper oil pan and if it's replaceable, or is this the block that is cracked? If it is replaceable, is it a simple bolt it off and put a new one on or do i have to remove crank and stuff like that??
