Here is the final product. I will try to get a video uploaded on Youtube soon so we can all make a comparison with the pre Stasis version.

It came out great and I like the ability to remove the tips. That would be handy for cleaning and removing them for winter use.

One more photo from the rear view, below. Yes they are a bit more out than the stock A7 ones but that is how I wanted them. Why hide when the AWE tips are AWE-some. This is my version of the S7 so it is less than total stealth mode.

While getting the tips done, I noticed that Ross-Tech was in Lansdale, PA and only 10 minutes away. I drove over and they did me a big favor and enabled a few VAG-COM codes: engine start dials sweep, gear indicator and remote window open. Great guys there.

damn that's nice. wish I was keeping my c7, i'd consider this mod. Did it with my 2005 A6 using Porsche 997 tips and a CF valence and it looked great, even better than the S6 tips. much more aggressive looking. congrats!

Note that I looked into the S6 Valance when I had my C7 A6 and since it was a premium plus (non s-line) the valance did not fit. The S-line bumpers, I believe are the same as the S cars, but the premium plus bumpers are different. At least that's the case for the A6.

Nice, looks great!

can you put together a total list of cost for this.

Im deciding if I should do this or just get an AWE/Statis exhaust system

thank you

Well, let's see. $500 for the S7 valence and trim, $300 for the AWE tips, $400 for custom welding labor. Sold the OEM tips for $200 so net cost is $1K. Will try to sell the old A7 valence on eBay soon.

The risk I avoided with this method was getting stuck with an exhaust system that is too loud and/or droans at certain engine speeds. I had this issue with my A5 when I put on the AWE exhaust. It took away from the smooth character of the Audi and the droan was just not going to work for me. It happened whenever I was on the highway and the engine turned at around 1,800 RPM. It was very annoying and drives you mad.
