Hi maga, I just opened mine up and it's at 4 and 1
I'm curious to see if it needs to be on something else and if I use 93 octane can I turn it up one

Great, Shawn, thank you! Let me know what you think about it with a 91 oct setting - looking forward to trying it out myself. Thanks!

Well, I put 93 in it and changed it from 4 to 5 then ran it and changed it all the way to 7.
According to the pocket Dyno, (I'm looking at 0-60 times only) it got a little slower each time.
At 4, I was running mid 4's and at 7 I was running ow 5's. Weird.

I just had to remove my Chipwerke Pro S and will reach out to the company to see what's happening. I installed the chip in Sept of this year and loved it. All of a sudden the car would sputter, run really rough and hesitate when the pedal was pressed down. I removed it and it's smooth as silk.

Sorry to hear you had a problem with it...did you find any resolution? Thanks!

I have a 2012 A6 3.0T prestige and want to pull the trigger on this but the web site is not clear.
They only have a 299HP and 333HP 3.0T as a selection and then a chipwerke, s and pro model. SO I have a 315 model which is it?

what is basic, s vs pro other then aluminum body in pro?

not very clear. And where is best link to buy and how long to get?

The box is generic and adjustable. As long as you get the gas and not the diesel version you'll be fine. EBay vitalian garage

There is a good long thread over on AZ about this, too. In short, the pro has a faster processor, won't melt as easily, and is said to be a bit better with a DSG. I finally ordered one for my c6.5 with the 6sp Tip. You can buy on ebay or directly from the chipwerke website. Murat has suggested buying from the website (probably to reduce what cuts out from him) so that's what I did.

From what I've heard, it only takes a few days to get it. Order the 299hp model and you should be good to go. Good luck!
