I'll be honest. I drove a 2011 m3 at an HPDE, I wasn't very impressed... compared to earlier generations.

Should have specified that I came from an E46 M3...the best ones they made, IMO. 3.2L I6, NA, 333hp/350lbft, sub-5sec 0-60. Still the best NA engine they ever built!

And speaking of "Best Engines"--for the 5th year in a Row (probably unheard of) Ward's picked the Audi 3.0TFSI.

Still enjoy reading this article. It really is a great engine... Much improved over the 2.7T in my last A6.
