Lowly Premium Plus reporting: I turned off HVAC and radio, and while driving the 101 this morning was accel/decel and messing with the steering wheel adjustment and didn't really hear anything other than that slight gearing noise that I spoke about before and nothing really changed with moving the steering wheel around. Dunno what to tell you.
I'll see what the dealership says!

Hey McFuzz, made an account to reply. I am getting a noise very similar to yours. Seems to be a light buzzing sound coming from the front left, most noticeable from around 40-70mph, changes pitch with speed and nothing else.
The dealer in my case replaced the wheel bearing, which has greatly minimized the noise but it is still there although very faint. I will try playing around with the steering column adjuster.

So I passed the info along to my SA; he says he's pretty sure the wheel bearings have been checked when the steering rack has been replaced but nevertheless, they will re-examine the issue when I stop by next Wednesday and will try to get to the bottom of this. I have a feeling they'd go ahead and replace the wheel bearing(s?) for ****s and giggles...
