How should I clean the residue inside the coil pack/spark plug wells? Is there a safe method? Please let me know. Thank you.

I just spray carb cleaner in there and wipe it out (plugs in) or spray carb cleaner and blow out the wells with a compressed air gun.

If the spark plugs are out, you can still wet a clean rag with carb cleaner and wipe out the wells.

there has been some debate about if you can remove plugs, clean them, and reuse them if they are just dirty.

I know replacement might be safer and cheap, but I am curious about cleaning.

also, how much do you feel air filter, plugs and vaccum leaks might contribute to loss of horsepower ?
