I have a 2001 A6 2.7t and Im looking to upgrade the rear brakes. Not too sure on what people have done or what the options are but I was looking at getting S4 rear calipers because they allow for a vented rotor and then going with the ECS rear upgrade kit with the 306mm rotors. Has anyone done this or anything similar. Does anyone know if the s4 rear calipers and brackets fit on the c5 a6? Any suggestions would be great.

I don't recall the guy ever posted his completed project.

As a general rule, BTW, bigger brakes aren't all that effective on the street. Better pads, better tires, will show a better effect.
Unless you're just into mine are bigger than yours discussion…
