A6 3.2 fsi shaking badly
Hey, new on this forum, sorry if i misplaced the thread.
I have a 2006 A6 3.2 fsi, the car has gone about 124274 miles
Anyway, someone loaned my car and when i got it back it was shacking on idle.
it still shakes when i drive it but not nearly as bad.
i'm fairly sure its not a misfire, i have changed the plugs, then i removed one coil.
when i had removed the coil i got a fault code, so i know my reader can see that.
iv had one fault code for some time (p0106) "manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure circui range/ performance problem"
Does anyone have an idea on where to start looking?
I know these engines have problem with the cam chain, could that be it?

Well he did fill up the car, but i live in sweden and we dont really have a problem with bad gas.
i guess carbon build isnt impossible, i had a bad valve gasket and some oil had come to the plugs, the plugs was in pretty bad shape.

Best whould be to get a full scan...maybe someone near you have VCDS?
and also scan block 93 in engine...see how timing is on the camshafts..
/H
var i Sverige finns du? (where in Sweden are you?) =)

Likely a bad coil pack or oil in one of the tubes and on spark plug. If it's oil you need a new valve cover or head gasket or should try tightening the bolts and see if the leak goes away.
