Anyone notice a rear tail light led pulse on their C6.5?
Hi guys, So far am a happy owner of my 2010 Audi A6. But theres one problem which has been annoying me all day.
Earlier on i let my partner reverse the car on to the drive. and as i was guiding her in i notice both of my rear tail lights had a very small light pulse when i was up close. At first i thought it was just the angle i was looking at.
so told my partner to turn off the car and just leave the lights on so i could have a proper look. But then again when i went up close i notice the rear lights did have a very small pulse. Is this normal on the c6.5s?
not really sure if the a6 leds are meant to be like that, but looking at my neighbours 2010 a4 sline they seem to be perfect with no pulse at all.
Don't really know if its meant to be like that or should i contact an auto electrician and let them have a look?

I have a 2010 as well, in the back up camera I see the pulse, but to the naked eye I do not. Maybe you are just a little better at picking up on it?
I noticed that if we want to switch out say the reverse lights etc to LED instead of incandescent, we have to ensure they have the load resistor built in or added in. I switched one and noticed a burst once in a while... read up to find out that is how the system checks if the bulb is burnt out.

I can see my LED tail lights pulsing when I shoot videos using my iphone, I tried shooting videos on any LED light bulbs inside and outside my car and they all pulse. I guess that's the way they are, you just have better eyes noticing them and they should be normal. Take your car to the dealership and ask them if you like so...

I think the camera picks up more than the eye can see. I remember back in the day when TV's were CRT screens and when you recorded video you can see the scan lines going up and down.
