iPod classic not recognized?
#2
I would suggest you go to your local dealer. They may have older cables which work with your ipod. Sometimes they replace older style cables with lightning cables when they sell tradeins) If not, you might just want to buy a more modern iPhone or iPod, add your music, and connect it to your car via the cable which came with your car or bia Bluetooth. Just leave it in your car for music only. Sync as needed to add newly added music. For others reading this with older cars without bluetooth. You can get an MMI bluetooth adapter. I've used "tune to air" in my 2008 Q7 for several years and like it very much. It's nice not to be obligated to plug in your phone each time you get into the car (i.e. short trips). It also works well when you want to listen to music from other family members or friends. If you go to amazon and search for "tune to air" you'll also see suggestions from other companies with the same concept. Amazon may not have the best pricing; but, it's a good start. Good luck.
