Audi 2G IPOD MMI/Integration Suggestion
Okay, I have an IPOD with 8000 Songs, 300+ artists, etc. It's a bit cumbersome to navigate... I want to find a way to jump pages or filter by Artist names/letters.... In other words, I want to have a list of all artists that start with A, B, C, etc., so that I can find things more quickly. As the IPOD doesn't support multiple genre's, it's hard to remember what genre a particular artist/song may be coded to...
I have already tried using the "composer" field on the iPod/iTunes to add the initial for filtering purposes... and while this works on the iPod itself, in the 2G MMI interface, I select "A" for composer and instead of artist names, it presents Album names. If I do the same using Playlists, it presents Songs....
Very odd that the 2G iPod MMI doesn't mimic the iPod navigation... would moving to a hard drive/USB interface solve this issue????
