Hi all! I'm in the process of updating all of my suspension work and I'd really like to lower the stance and increase the handling. My local shop has tried finding lowering springs (H&R and everything else under the sun), but it seems like they only made lowering spring for the A8 which has different lengths compared to the S8. I will have adjustable upper control arms installed. Also, I'd rather not go with coilovers at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions on lowering springs specifically for the S8 that can be sourced? Thanks!!

Any lowering spring which lowers an A8 lower than an S8 (S8 is 40mm lower than
A8) will fit on an S8.

S8 is only 20mm lower than an A8.

I'm a bit tired and had two numbers floating in my head... I went with the bigger one (I'll go with the excuse of "bub brain" - my missus currently uses the excuse "pregnancy brain" for her errors!)

Either way you're not likely to find "S8 lowering springs" anywhere...

Maybe my car sits low? I couldn't imagine lowering it. It drags all over the place going in and out of driveways. Anything taller than about 4" in the road and you can hear it hit the subframe as you go over.

2001 S8

Ground clearance for the S8 is 5". I already cringe every time I see something laying on the road that I can't swerve around. Lowering would make it almost impossible to drive on any but perfectly smooth roads.
