The rear glass on my A8 got busted and I have a hard time finding a replacement for it. My local glass guy can't get one from any of his 3 suppliers. I found a new one on ebay through some company in California for $450.-, but they seem to be hit and miss whether or not they actually have the parts they advertise.

Is there a good source for the rear glass any of you can recommend? I'm talking about the rear glass, not the rear side glass. I guess it's also called the back glass

No one buys glass from a car dealer here in the USA. I have looked at some used car part places, but not sure about the shipping of a big back glass. High cost of shipping and then you get a used glass. Might as well bite the bullet and get a new one, with free shipping

I ended up getting a new glass from the Audi dealer. With shop discount it was $412.-, had to be shipped from Germany.

That's a really good price. The Audi dealer accidentally cracked my driver's side rear passenger's window. The bill to replace the double laminate window was $800. It had to be shipped from Germany, according to the dealer.
