Thanks you for that valuable information regarding serpentine belt, replacement of fuel pump etc. And I feel at ease now regarding the timing belt.

Hi , I can't be sure if the last belt change was done. Previous seller said it was done at those two intervals as he checked the service records.....there is nothing in the service book or any invoices that say anything - so is it just given that its done. I may need to call up Audi and see what they have in the system.
The service book is stamped up to 108,000 miles with Audi.
Seen some threads and seems quite costly as UK Audi here states £800 just for belt change. I have a good mechanic so hopefully he can do the belt , fuel pump, serpentine belt for a reasonable price.

No need to change fuel pump if the fuel filter has been changed regularly,change it and check the date on the old one.
Its 2000$ at the dealer here to do cam belt,get ready to spend
