Thanks, I kinda knew that but just thought I 'd list a more common-sense approach in case someone without a lot of car operation knowledge was reading in case of a "next time".

I learned all about electric fuel pumps as I had a '78 VW Rabbit and two 1980 Scirocco's. They all suffered from the dreaded fuse/relay plate melting fuel pump relay socket syndrome. One time on a rainy Chicago night while I was wearing a nice suit and was 30 miles from my hotel. Fortunately, someone gave me a roll of speaker wire and I had some tools and was able to get the car running to get home. Next day, the Recall Notice arrived. True story.

I understand iase a mistake but i showed up just now where inledt rhe car over noght and it started back up . No issues . Now i tried again to turn off the car and restart it it still repeated the issue and wont shut off. This time i started the car with the key .

Pull the aforementioned fuse for the fuel pump to kill it, and have it taken to a shop. You can keep asking people for help, but at the end of the day this is not an easy problem to diagnose based on your descriptions. Any suggestions I would have to look at would require a certain level of expertise to do. Given that you shorted the battery to shut it off, I'm not comfortable with suggesting for you to get into what may be a very difficult diagnosis and repair. Save the headache and any further damage, take it to a reputable shop.
