Default Is auto suspension adjust after turning off car normal?

[2005 A8L] Quick question. Haven't owned car long. I was just wondering. I usually keep my car in dynamic mode 90% of the time I've recently noticed that when I put the car in park, turn it off, and lock it as I'm walking away I'll hear some air release and it appears that it drops a little bit. Is this normal? Doesn't seem like it always happens but it might just be that I'm not always paying attention to it. It has done it once while it was in standard mode too. Thanks in advance.

What you describe is normal. Not sure what the idea is, but there it is.

When you lock the car it re-levels itself. This is because your weight is no longer in the vehicle so it rises slightly. So to re-level itself it needs to let some air out of the struts. When the engine is running it does the same but you don't notice it as you can't hear it.

What's sometimes interesting to watch is loading the car up with heavy items/passengers and it sinks down under the weight. Hit the lock button and watch it rise back up to normal height.

Normal.
The air suspension self checks for level and adjusts as required - up or down in any or all corners to get level again.
As others have said.

Park the car with a wheel in a pothole- come back and it will have leveled itself.
It's not very becoming of a luxury car to not be level lol

The D4 does it as well. It is just a lot quieter. Not sure where the valve block is located on the D4 but it doesn't make much noise.
