I've been getting some intermittent error code...
01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor
18061 - Please check DTC Memory of ABS Controller
17981 - Left Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144): Open Circuit

This after just replacing my coolant tank. There was some coolant that leaked from the crack but not very much, I'd estimate perhaps up to 1/2 gallon total leakage.

Is it reasonable to think the spilled coolant may have caused the problem?
what can I do at this point? The CEL has only made itself known twice over about 500 miles.

Thanks in advance

By the way, I do get an ESP/StabilityControl indicator light every few weeks which resets with the next ignition cycle. I've confirmed with VCDS that it is a SteeringAngle sensor fault.

Also, FYI, I've worked in design & development of ABS Since 1985. Primarily pneumatic for heavy duty trucks but also some hydraulic systems as well. The #1 failure by far is at the wheel ends.
I'm hoping Mister Bally (or someone with similar knowledge) resides near Sacramento, CA.

Bought a 2nd car this past week '07 A8, and within a day every brake light came on (Esp, ABS, parking brake) along with an every 30 second beep from "parking brake malfunction" light. Dealer (small private owned dealership) did just install new brakes so I'm hoping it's just a quick switch reset, etc.....

No warranty, my fault for not researching the brand better & how involved/high end Audi is.

Hello everybody
Does anybody knows to tell me please where is located the sensor for acceleration and yaw rate ? I'm talking about my car (Audi A8, 4.2 tdi, 2006, engine BVN, VIN WAUZZZ4E06N025013). I'm already confused, I found a lot of opinions about this locations (4 possibilities till now).... Because of this sensor (G200/G202) I have a MIL (ESP) and because of this MIL my ACC is not available. Thanks in advance

Hello everybody
nobody asked me on this forum
Anyway, I asked at Audi Halle (Germany) and I asked a friend : I received the same answer : the yaw rate sensor (G200/G202) is in central console, rear, under the tunnels for air, in the seat belts area.... (in base of ETKA, please see attached picture).
In fact, this sensor was in central console, under the tunnels for air, but in front (under the AC module for settings). See another attached picture. The sensor was ok, but only one wiring (from 6) was interrupted. At the end, solved the ESP - MIL, and of course the ACC was available.
I hope these informations will help another guys

I had a Bluetooth OBD Link unit plugged in and after a couple of days I had a parking brake failure warning pop up. Checked the rest of the car with VCDS and had DTC errors all over the place. I cleared all the codes and never plugged in the OBD dongle again. No more problems.
