Robert, did you ever find a replacement for the fog light grill/trim? I just lost the same on my 08 A8L and was hoping for a point in the right direction for a replacement. Was it simple to install - just snaps in?
So some A-hole stole my lower right fog light/bumper grill while the wife and I were having a nice meal at the Bayou on Staten Island. My 2008 A8L has chrome strips on this bit and I'd like to find a replacement used OEM if possible or don't mind aftermarket as long as it isn't complete junk.
Any suggestions? I've been looking on fleaBay with no luck yet.
On another note I've been driving loaners and the wife's new Q7 with heated steering wheels and I have to say that it is a welcomed option here in NY and as I get older....LOL.
I currently have the OEM three spoke wood rim with paddles. From what I've seen/researched it looks like I can retofit, but a heated three spoke with paddles might be hard to find or very pricey. I thought it made sense to find a three spoke since the air bag should just swap over. Did they make a four spoke with paddles? I would think that I'd have to find a four spoke with a bag. I might be better just finding my driving gloves or buying new gloves?
Edit:
Also need to get new summer rubber for the OEM 19" - PS2 the way to go? I do like to push it in the rain too so that might sway your input...
TIA

How to pull out Fog light grille...
Bumping up this old thread; I am finding it difficult to pull out the left fog light grille to swap out bulbs (the driver's side came out easily..pulling on the far right side). Using the same approach on the opposite side is proving to be difficult. Any tips to use, so as not to snap the tabs holding it in place? Thanks.

Squeeze with your thumb on top and index finger underneath on the upper and lowermost slats, and pull hard. Pull from about the middle of the grille where there is them most resistance. I've done this about 10 times without breaking a tab.

I will give it another go. (Ps: I actually saw your DIY video on this...thanks).

Update - looked at my sales brochure for the 2007 A8s. Nope - heated steering wheels, both all leather as well as leather / wood was a separate option and not included in any packages.
