Got a set of brand new tail lights on eBay for my 05 A8 and after the installation, the center two signal lights did not lights up only two side signal lights are working ! I did connect the outside signal lights with wires to the
center signal lights. Did I miss anything ? Or I need the Audi computer to turn it on ?? Please help.
If I understand, you did run a wire from each outside turn signal to the inside turn signal light? If that is correct, then you might want to recheck the connections because I have not read anywhere that you have to activate the inside turn signals with VCDS.
I've been looking into it but have just not felt the need to spend 1K and run wiring inside the trunk.

Thanks for reply, I check it so many times and make sure the wires got power when I do the signal light. All other lights are working, just the signal lights, may be I got a defect one ? But for both center lights went bad, the chance is too small !
I went to the hassle of running the extra wires like you did as you can see in this TUT written by me, I too thought it logical that the section you highlighted would indeed light up.
However its not the case, the extra wiring is for the american market like in the where no orange section lights up
