How do I remove damaged locking weel nut
I have a locking wheel nut ABC 89 with 21 splines. The wheel nit on one wheel is deformed and worn and the locking key no longer fits. Any idea how to get it out so I can replace it with a new one?

Since it is messed up anyway...
first take off and replace the other three. Then take the wheel nut key and drive it on to the damaged one w/ a hammer. Hopefully it gets on there securely and you can then unscrew it. Discard all and start over; pulling the other three first was in case you mess up the tool or it gets stuck onto the bad one in hammering it on.

special tools at the big tire chains
Additionally,
Most wheel and tire shops have a special wheel nut socket with hardened interior splines that they can drive over the top of the stripped out lugnut. It basically cuts into the outer edges of the lugnut and grips it so that an impact wrench can loosen it. Happens all the time and the big tire chains have the gear to get it of.

Thanks guys.
The existing tool is slight damaged. I did manage to find on ebay an ABC 9 in as new condition so I bought that to remove the others.
I can now bang the old one in with confidence Ill let you know how I get on.
Im going to get a new set of locking nuts. I dont like the spline design. Has anyone got any good recommendations for a replacement?
