MMI control Unit version issue
What the Difference between the US and European or any other country Mmi Video Control Module Part# 4E0035729? I've been searching for A US one to replace the replacement I bought but I can't seem to find one made in the US with a Manufacturing Date of 2006 or newer.

There are only software differences. Unit has to be A8/S8 dedicated and software can be updated for a certain market. Main hardware difference makes F-bass, green video in bass that enables connection of a rear view camera or TV. If you get the module from Europe you have to update it to North America software version starting from bootloader.
