Default MMI Help Please!!

So the screen will power on if I press on the controls..and then shut right back down. I bypassed all modules with a loop and still that same with the exception of the mmi module interface that's behind the glovebox. When I loop that ..the screen will come on and the controls will work but it shows as nothing installed.

This is what I got from vcds

Pepsi Syndrome? Aka stuck buttons, hair or fiber stuck in them, or bad board due to spill or sunroof leak?

So it seems like the cd changer(media player) has an optical error? Could this be causing the rest of the errors?

When one is faulty usually shows the rest with faults
Usually the one that shows error error
But you have 5 of them
Have you isolated each of these

if it were me and I am wrong a lot
buy the cheapest used mmi control module of ebay
cp protected but at least you will know if that's the problem.
other is mmi console main board or buttons but you think these are ok.
isolated the bose amp? telephone ? these do not show fault but most loop is a bit strange when one module goes down

All those electrical errors are unusual. Do you have full scan? It can be Gateway. It controls the ring. It's connection is OK but it can still be faulty. There are also CAN hi and lo. Yellow/something wires to all modules connected to harnesses on both sides of the dashboard, next to the fuse boxes. Their function is controling the optical ring. Electrical errors could come from there.
