Oil Leak on 2007 fsi
#21
I bought the tool that looks like a square and goes in the middle, but also before the tool came in the mail i found someone mention with belt still on you can turn the crank by putting a socket on the alternator. I think it was like 22mm or 15/16. It turned the valves super easy. Got them cleaned up and all put back together. Strongly recommend scraping first then spraying cleaner to get off carbon, much less product wasted that way. Changed the oil after as well as oil level sensor rubber gasket. She's good as new now it appears.
FYI all the parts above were perfect but for the Touareg 4.2 FSI BAR engine code the plastic piece above is only for the Audi, not needed on the Touareg. So i'll resell the one i bought. 079133021C the plastic union isn't needed. It's metal on the touareg. I also changed my crank pulley and serpentine belt too while i was at it.
