Default Vag Com for seatbelt chime 08 S8

Searched and can't find the vag-com code for eliminating the seat belt chime in a 2008 S8. Links I found were dead. I found it and did it to my S6, but no joy finding it for an S8. Any help appreciated.

It's on the Ross-Tech wiki:

Man I suck. I was there earlier and totally missed the "Cluster" section.

Thanks!

LOL, no worries - I spent 5 minutes looking at comfort systems before I figured it out.

Default Follow up question/experience...

So if you did this, remind me--did you also then loose the chime for the lights left on indicator? IIRC, I did. After many times leaving the lights on and just not noticing, compounded by delayed lights off exit feature where you have to remember the instruments are dark if the lights are actually switched off, I went back to the original setting. It was either that or leave the headlight switch in the automatic mode all the time. Probably about the only VAG COM mod I ended up reversing after trying for a while.

I never take them off auto so can not tell you for sure.
Will go into manual mode at lunch time and see if the chime is gone or not.

The one I'd kill to turn off is the driver door chime.
It's patently obvious to me when a giant metal portion of the car is not where it should be.
While becoming more forgetful in my old age I don't leave doors open...

What do you mean by the driver door chime? Chime that plays whenever a driver's door is open?
Since my car is european spec, no much chime... Maybe changing the car region with vag-com could do it?

Good idea. I'll try to do so. Just if that doesn't change something else for the worse. Like canceling passenger seat ejection function, for example.
