Hello all,

I have done a retrofit of B&O on my car and need some help regarding the coding, I really need a scan of a B&O car to compare the 5F and 47 data.

If anyone can help then it would be very much appreciated.

That is a massive help, your sound system has the same version codes as mine and your 5F coding has only 2 digits different, neither relate to the sound system. I think my problem might be in my sound system adaptation settings, Rosstech have suggested I do a control map scan of the 47 unit which I have now done for the first time, would it be possible for you to do that for me?

on the opening page of VCDS select "applications" then type 47 in the address box, select the "adaptation" check box then "run". this should save a file in your logs folder.

If you could do the same but select the "Measuring blocks" check box then that should save the measuring blocks.

none of this will change anything in your system.

Adam you are a gent. thanks for that. unfortunately it has not improved things as the adaptations were identical however the measuring blocks are quite different and whereas your amp was coded in 2010 ours says 2000 i.e. in my mind never coded. The seller did say after the sale that the amp was new but not boxed. the real problem is that Audi cannot code the amp as the settings are sent via computer link from Germany and as my car was never equipped from the factory with B&O then it will not code it.
