2011 vs 2012 A8 Changes
Hey all. I'm looking at D4 A8's and I know there were some model year changes between 2011 and 2012. Is it anything I care about?
Also a couple option questions:
Bang & Olufsen System - I had it in my 2007 A8 and most recently in my 2014 535d. My complaint with the D3 system is that while clean and crisp, it was a bit short on bass. I've also heard that the D4 system is apparently worse than the D3's. Anyone with experience on this that wants to chime in?
Traffic - Does the car offer traffic updates via NAV and will it re-route you based on those updates? Different cars seem to offer varying levels of traffic data. The 535 showed traffic on pretty much every road but side streets and would auto-reroute based on traffic. It was the first car that let me put Waze down. How is traffic on the A8?
Anything else I want to know? Reliability-wise, keeping in mind I've already owned two D3s, has the D4 stood the test of time so far?

Well, my Bose in my D4 has less base than my brothers D3. I can't speak for the B&O. Mine does take into account traffic, but only on major roadways. It shows red,yellow, and green depending on the amount. Those with Google(optional in 2011, standard in 2012) have much more to offer in regards to traffic, assuming you get the data plan.
My 2011 has 62,000 miles and I've got no major issues to report, only very minor things have been required.
