BTW I made up the "A8XL" moniker, I guess correct German would be "A8ÜL" for "ÜBER-Lang", ha. (I wonder if there's an official chrome letter with umlaut?). My brother had Tennessee vanity plates on his 944T that said "TSCHüSS" which he umlauted by scratching off enough of the "U" to make it look like it was there.

I think the stock D4 looks far better - the stretch ruins the lines for me. Sure would be great for trips, though.

Haha, Misha; yes that WOULD be my choice! I've always been fascinated by "armored cars" especially passenger vehicles. Love looking at the Audi (and I admit, MB) "sekurity") sites. I love that video of the Audi test training doing a "Rockford" turn".Don't have time to find it right now... in a rush...
I hate seeing them tested by being demolished, though! I realize it's necessary but man what a waste.

I don't like that either, but it is much cheaper than it looks. It is before any taxes, rebates, warranties and so on. I bet it is quite less then a half price.
