Analog Clock not always in Sync with Digital Clock
I have a 2011 A8L with most every package but the rear entertainment. I notice that when I drive the analog clock stops and does not stay in sync. When I start the car up in the morning the two are in sync again. Very annoying because I find the analog clock much easier to check. Searched the forums and google with nothing coming up.

Haven't seen that yet, but I could swear my analog is off by a minute from the digital clock.
It could be a failed analog clock as well - parts that move are more likely to fail.
Do you have a VCDS auto-scan ?
I'd get to the dealer asap if still under warranty as that clock costs almost $1k and this could be indicative of other issues.

I have had the same problem on my 2011. About once every two weeks the analog clock will lose about twenty minutes. I manually reset the clock and it stays that way. If I reset it enough it will re sync. Also if I just leave it it will re sync within a day or two. I have not had my car into the dealer for a while (knock on wood) but it is on my list for them to look at during the next service.
Let me know if you find a solution.

I had the same issue. The analog clock judders and doesn’t keep time with the digital one.
If you set it to 1200 then 0600 it might sync up.
I have a replacement to fit but have been unable to get the old one out.
Here’s a video of someone else showing it coming out with ease.
Mine has the silver aluminium dash and there isn’t any gap above to do this removal. I haven’t undone any of the bolts though.
There are just two push fit connections at the top sides of the clock.
Push tabs on analog clock
Is there a simple trick to removing it?
