Hello A8 gang.

I'm looking at purchasing this A8 and I realized that it didn't have fog lamps, but it has everything else that I love.

Is there a way to install fog lamps in the A8 and upgrade the switch?

I've attached a copy of what the head lamp switch looks like and what the fog lamp place holders look like.

Those aren't fog lamp placeholders, they are the sensors for the cruise control. You need those.

It does appear this vehicle has a rear fog light as that is the button on the lower left. The rear fog light is only onone side and makes it easier for cars to see you when approaching from the rear. It also appears the headlights are standard xenon's rather than LED's and therefore no factory fog lights as they would be in the main headlight assembly and not in the lower fascia. I am sure after markets could be added.

Thanks for the info. It was hard finding an A8L with the LED's with the orange turn signals in my area.

This one fell into my lap and I couldn't resist the color combination. The metallic black and the nougat interior.

The standard assembly does not have forward fog lamps. In the cars with LED headlamps, an all weather function exists, activated with the top button next to the headlamp switch, performing the function of fog lamps quite well.

ah! so those aren't fog lights in the bottom of the bumper!!!!! Couldn't figure out why they wouldn't turn on. Thanks!

I like the all weather lights, they light up the sides of the surroundings nicely.

There are also excellent in improving visibility by reducing headlight glare from roadway surfaces on rainy nights.
