Contemplating the purchase of a 2013 S8 with 50k mileage
What if any concerns should I have?
Obviously I would have it independently inspected before purchase but are there any preliminary issues I should look out for before i even go to the trouble of setting up an 3rd party inspection?

A warranty is good to have with these hi-tech high $ cars for sure. Ofcourse some warranties are only worth the paper they're written on.
My did have 2 year left in a after market warranty b
I pray I'll never need it. Most of the wording in these warranties is what they don't cover.
I check out my cars as well as possible, although some foreseen.
After purchasing well over 50 vehicles, never used a warranty. I normally use the provided after market warranties as bargaining tool to remove and lower cost.
A electrical, or drivetrain issue could be a nightmare for sure. They are more the exception though.
A late model bmw7 or jaguar would really make me nervous.
