Beautiful car there! I love Daytona Pearl Gray! I got a '14 A8L dealer demo a few months ago that was missing the SIM card. Called the Audi Connect 800 number and explained the situation and they sent me a brand new one and gave me the 6 month free trial too even though it wasn't an officially new car. They were extremely helpful and I'm sure they would be with you too. Enjoy the fantastic car, it was an excellent choice!

Beautiful car!

Just picked up a black one myself. Dealer put a "euro" plate on the front that has the name of the dealership. Silly thing sets off the parking sensor in the front. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the car was beeping...

Well it turns out the dealership input the wrong number for the SIM card to audi. Told me to just use it until the free trial runs out for google earth and then they will send me a new card with an additional free google earth trial.

Well I can always tell when a yankee moves here by the crazy expired stickers in the window

When I travel I get one these reactions:
  • Oooh I got Euro Delivery too ! - I did not
  • Where are you from in Germany ? - I am second generation American
  • You from Canada ? - Huh ? Really ?
  • You with the government ? - I can neither confirm nor deny that, followed by stern look
  • An exceedingly elderly couple recounting every second of their trip to Italy for me - by far the most interesting conversations

Visiting family in NY last month someone saw the A8 and asked 'Living in Indiana now?'

Well I did go to high school with this guy... he was there at least a couple of years as I recall...

You tend to get some looks when you pick someone up in A8L at a mom & pop car repair shop in a town with a population of less than 200
