I have a bit of damage on mine and wanted to get that fixed and hoped someone know how to remove it and put a new one in. Specifically can it be done without removing the bumper.

The whole rear bumper cover should be removed, then separate the upper and lower half, then you unclip the trim. To remove the bumper cover, you will find 3 fasteners behind each wheel, 4 on the bottom, and another 4 by each tail light. The exterior ones are immediately visible, but the ones by the tail lights are accessed by removing the interior trim in the trunk. Note that the bottom corners of the bumper cover are not only screwed in place, but also snap in place, you will have to pull them straight away from the body to unsnap them and remove the cover(be careful, as with any body or trim piece.)
