So I recently purchased a 1989 Audi 200 turbo and it drove amazing, stating it had 81,000 miles. Although after purchasing it, it died 8 times on the home along the freeway. At exactly 3000RPM the engine light comes on the acceleration and throttle stops altogether; it then stutters and dies only to work well again after you restart it. The fuel pump and fuel filter have been replaced and that leads me to either a) a turbo or vacuum problem, or b) a fuel injector issue. Curious if anyone els has experienced this and if so what they have done to solve it. PS randomly it will drive great and it is a bit of a tease; PLEASE help me enjoy this amazing vehicle.

Check all hoses, especially the Michelin man one, hoses are crucial for this engine. Once you checked them all and still have issues, run the error codes see what you get back
