Won't run all of a sudden.
87 Audi 5000 CS Quattro Turbo (only 98k miles) very clean.
Has a hardwired cold start switch that works fine.
Ran fine, week later without cranking it, now won't hold idle.
Go to crank it, it will jump to about 500 rpms then die, no amount of throttle with keep it running.
Checked the fuel pump, checked fuel filter, changed plugs, topped off with fresh gas, checked for vacuum leaks, everything checks out.
Think my fuel distributor is clogged up? How hard is it to break free that FD if so?

Check the ISV (idle stabilizer valve). Don't take apart the FD, you will never be able to put it back together again. You can try lifting the plate in the FD to see if fuel if entering the injector.
