'95 Cab fuel tank
For years I've lived with a slight aroma of fuel that seems to originate near the back seat when the car has been closed up for a few days. I believe it is coming up through the convertible compartment. Unfortunately, my Bentley's manual diagram of the fuel tank and connections does not match what is installed. I'm guessing it is a '90 diagram. I'm thinking a clamp or a cracked hose in the system is the culprit and as the tank has to be vented in some fashion, the vapor is escaping into the trunk and wafting up. No visible wet areas on, in, or near the car or any exposed hoses or lines. No obvious decrease in fuel quantity. I am hoping somebody has experienced this before and knows what the offending part is, or can direct me to an accurate component layout. It is such a waste to have to disassemble it all just to see how the thing works. Thanks in advance.

I had that same rear seat smell too..surprisingly it turns out it was a fuel line under the car. A short length of hose with swedged connections..just in front of the fuel pump. Never any visible puddle..but just damp with fuel. I cut off the swedges and replaced the hose with good fuel line clamps. Smell is now gone.
Check under the car around the fuel pump and hoses..
