Interesting list Seven. My employer is not listed but we do get discounts on both Verizon and AT&T. Our HR group is very active in promoting these discounts to the staff, and I am sure most all other employers do the same. FWIW, we get 18% on AT&T.

I suspect the list is a bit dated and new companies are added over time.

I was considering going US Mobile, but I'm not sure after running some numbers.

Some data: I used 0.88GB in the last 30 days, according to myaudiconnect.com, so a 1-GB/month plan seems right for me.

AT&T, again according to myaudimyaudiconnect, has a 30GB/30 month plan for $499, that's $16.68/month.

US Mobile's 1-GB plan is $14, add the $2/month fee and you're at $16, which is only 68-cents cheaper than US Mobile, hardly a bargain.

Everyone seems to speak highly of US Mobile, am I missing something?

I think people (including myself) find US Mobile to be a good option for low-usage scenarios. I haven't even used 100MB this month, but I also only use AudiConnect for Google destination searches and gas prices. I don't use Google Earth maps, wifi hotspot, etc.

Also, even though the price difference of US Mobile 1 GB plan is similar to the 30-month AT&T plan (per month), that still requires a 30 month commitment and upfront payment with AT&T, whereas there is zero commitment and no bulk payment for US Mobile.

I actually just added Audi connect to my data share plan on AT&T for just $10 a month, so if you're already an AT&T customer this seems like the best deal or at least for me. Since the LTE has better reception for my A3 I link my phone to the hotspot to stream my spotify from it. The connection signal is always excellent. But obvious this option is moot if you're a T-mobile or Verizon customer.

Or moot like me if you are grandfathered in to the unlimited data plan and don't want to lose it

The Audi developed MMI connect app will let you send destinations directly to your myAudi account instead of using a third party app. It also lets you use the addresses in your calendar appointments and addresses from your phonebook. Not to mention if you connect it to the hotspot it allows you to use UPnP to stream music to the MMI at a higher quality level versus Bluetooth A2DP.

Is there a substantial speed difference between AT&T and Tmobile to warrant the effort to switch?

Completely dependent upon your area. In my area, both are LTE.

I am glad I am an ATT customer.
I am also grandfathered from the true unlimited data plans (4G LTE).
So, for $10, I get to hotspot and do anything I want.

Still haven't received any complaints from ATT.
