^^^ I completely agree that BASS management is key (my subwoofer comment was mere euphemist commentary), and in Car Audio, I gather the sub is a major component for covering the freq. range since bass is the largest range and the least covered by car speakers, , there must be a middle ground though... that double sub is huge.

Back in the day I was accustomed to installing a dual enclosure for 10 inchers whenever possible, as the 10's are just the right mix of punchy yet musical...
now I'd be more worried about it interfering with my cargo net, or adding all that extra weight in magnets to my sporty sedan.

Be nice to have something that could fit in the right side of the trunk where that black box is taking up a bunch of space in the compartment.
Never liked huge subs because I don't want to sacrifice my trunk space (tho I do like how they sound most of the time) - plus all the added weight.

Ha, yes looks like he has 2x12 inch subs installed... I'd have to imagine a single 15 inch would do the work just as well and take up less space with its enclosure.

First upgrade I did was the Sub. Can't enjoy the music without good bass. My audi salesperson told me the A3 I was buying had the B&O which it didn't. Shame on me for not validating his claim. When I called him back afterwards he denied he said it. Lesson learned. I dropped a 1000 watt amp (with it's own EQ) under the passenger seat and a 12" JBL sub in the trunk. I built it in the back so I lost the fold down seat option through the trunk but I didn't buy the car for that at all. Best of luck with your ride and you will want a bigger sub!!! #morebass
I should have cleaned the trunk before the pic but it's early.
