Audi A3 door lock activator removal
I have a 2007 A3 .The passenger door lock has stopped working from the key fob and internal door mechanism and the drivers door one occasionally fails.
The white inset switch in the edge of the passenger door allows me to lock and I can unlock by opening the door from the inside. I'm assuming I have to replace the actuators although I see some discussions on repairing them. I managed to get the door panel off but underneath theres a black sealing panel closing off the opening in the door to the actuator . It appears to have some bumps in it which may be the catches but pull and lever as hard as I dare it will not come off. Do I just force it ? I'm concerned I maight break something or mark the surrounding metal. Any ideas ??
