2016 A5 Cabriolet check engine light
I bought my A5 Cabriolet brand new 2 months ago, it only has 2900 miles on it. I've already had to take it in for service because the side assist didn't work, now my check engine light is on. It's been on for a week. I'm scheduled to take it in for service tomorrow. This morning while pulling out of garage, it sounded like something was rubbing, almost like an older car with low power steering fluid and then when I pulled forward, it sounded like the rear end was about to fall off. I haven't hit anything. Is this a common Audi problem? I have an expectation that I buy a brand new car I shouldn't have to take it in for service twice in the first two months. I'm losing my faith in Audi.

May be similar to mine. I just bought a 2017 Cabriolet and after 2 weeks I get an occasional check engine light and car vibrates at times. Turns out to be a detective crankshaft to most if not all similar cars. Happens when the car is warmed up after a cold start. Dealer has mine now and needs it for a few days.
