Carmax A5/S5?
Did anyone purchase their A5/S5 from carmax? Why? Why not? I am currently looking to purchase an '13+ A5 but I want to get an idea on you guys/gals experiences prior to purchase.

You've got to wonder why someone would sell such a new car 13+ to CarMax and what type of service history comes with the car. A carfax or taking the VIN to your local Audi dealer is a good start.
Generally speaking, if its on their lot, and not sent off to auction, its probably a decent car. But you're paying some serious coin for an 13+ A5/S5 and want to be sure to do your research.
Also, depending on the part of the country you're in, you can also get a decent deal by taking over someone's lease. If you love the car for the short period you lease it, you can buy it out. Most everything is done with Audi financial, and it's totally legit.
Here is a nice example in the Miami area:
2013 Audi A5 lease in MIAMI, FL
Good luck.

Thank you for the response, lmariorod, and I think your daughter has a beautiful name . I am in the Atlanta, GA area. I was considering carmax because of the selection and options but I slowly finding out that that Audi Certified may the way to go. Since, I am buying used I definitely want a great warranty to boot.
Although I have considered it, leasing is definitely a great short term option... I appreciate the link.

I bought my 2013 A5 from carmax. It was a lease vehicle with under 15k miles for $36k. the price was comparable to what I think I could have negotiated elsewhere but I didn't want white and that's all I could find. I've been happy with the purchase but it's only been about eight months.
