Hey Guys,

I am new to this forum and bought my 2012 Audi A5 Premium last night.

I am able to make BT calls, but can't stream music. From reading around here it seems unless I have nav, by default I can't stream music. Even my aux cable port is covered inside the center console.

I have the iPod USB hookup in the glove, but that's about it.

Now, is it possible at all to find a BT device that'll hook up to that iPod cable so I can stream music thru the car speakers? If not, do I have to buy an adaptor to a standard 3.5mm audio cable to manually plug in my Nexus 5?

I don't believe I have MMI at all.

Kinda stupid that a 2012 luxury car doesnt support this by default. Thanks!

I've been looking at the same thing for my 2012 S5 and I believe that the Tun2Air is the best solution. (Mine arrives tomorrow). I tried another adapter that had the features, but MMI didn't recognize it as being plugged in.

I will let you know how mine works. With iOS, you get song list info, etc., but with Android you get streaming without the accompanying information.

Yes. BT streaming wasn't available until the 2013 with the new MMI 3G+.
