I couldn't agree more about the far better experience of driving a manual transmission! Help me out. I am looking to acquire a used A5 or S5 convertible with a manual transmission. What years were these available?

And yet, I find myself attracted to the M4 DSG….
Even the M3 although I would buy the M4 convertible to replace my E46 convertible. I've driven both the M4, M3, in DSG and six speed versions…the six speed IIRC even matches revs on downshifts…the DSG just does it faster and faultlessly plus my wife/daughter can drive it. I'm at the point though that the six speed precludes them from driving it so what's not to like?
Not to mention the M4 gets better mileage than the S5 and RS5. The problem is that the Audi is just a better looking car, interior and exterior.

The new RS5 will be a 500 hp turbo BTW.
