i thought for sure it was a connection at the motor after everything I had read. Turned out is was leaking at the top of the tailgate, where a smaller line ran from a large supply line to deliver the fluid down to the motor.

Here's where they join up. The smaller line was jammed into the larger one, and there was some grey tape wrapped around it.



Some more of that German-looking tape was found where the line connected to the motor.



To fix it I used some gasket maker and made a proper seal between the two lines, then taped it up. Time will tell I guess.

YKallroad – I too ran into the same issue were the fluid line became split right at the top of the tailgate. This cause the washer fluid to leak inside the cabin on to the headliner and C pillars during operation… Had a hard time trying to source the hose/line from the dealer. Kudos to you for the quick and easy fix, as I did something similar to patch my leak… Plus Mr. clean magic eraser to clean up the light blue water stains.
