Default 1995 UrS6 clutch problem

No one in my area has ever worked on an Audi like mine so when I ask mechanics what's wrong, most of them just scratch their head and stare. Anyways, I have a 1995.5 Audi S6 that, as of a few nights ago, when I was driving home, has clutch issues. Driving home I stopped at a stop sign and put the clutch in and it didn't come back up. Now, there was about an inch of "usable" clutch (I could still shift and such, but the peddle was only off the floorboard about an inch). I can pull the clutch peddle up with my foot, but there's no pressure when you push it back down, it just goes straight back to the floor. The clutch was still functioning, still releasing and not just burning up. I'm in the process of moving and don't have a bunch of money to be spending on people who don't know how to fix my car, so I was hoping you could help! Thanks in advance!

When my clutch started dropping to the floor I ended up having to replace my clutch slave cylinder. I was losing brake fluid, but slowly enough that there was no indication of a leak other than the level in reservoir.

Clutch slave or master cylinder. Also check the hose to the slave cylinder. Best to change both.
