5 MINUTE TEST DRIVE--MY NEW TO ME S6--JUST OFF THE TRUCK FROM NORTH DAKOTA
Dark--but looks all there & very nice.
Clutch a hard push--stiff fingers in the diaphragm I would guess. No slippage detected initially.
Sounds like driveshaft hitting the inside of the tunnel--U-joint?
Runs ok, but needs a tune.
Will sort the service records tomorrow.
The hitting the tunnel--is that a common issue?

Hope you figured it out by now. When I bought mine, found out that the engine mounts were shot, plus a few bushings. The is one at the nose of the engine and, if I not mistaken, after the transmission. I replaced every single one and the ride became glass smooth. Hope it helps.
